About the tides at Port Alexander

Port Alexander has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The range is large, about 8.6 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 10.9 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 11, with a range of 13.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Friday, when the range shrinks to 6.6 ft.
