About the tides at Table Bay

Table Bay has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Sitka, Baronof Island, Sitka Sound. The range is large, about 8.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 13.7 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −3.2 ft on July 5.

Table Bay is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Sitka, Baronof Island, Sitka Sound: highs come about 15 min and lows about 13 min earlier than there.
