About the tides at San Mateo Bridge (east end)

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The range is large, about 5.8 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most California stations on this site. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 8.4 ft.
