About the tides at Bay Slough, east end
Bay Slough, east end has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at San Francisco, San Francisco Bay. The range is large, about 5.6 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most California stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 9.3 ft. Neap tides follow on October 31, when the range shrinks to 4.8 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.2 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on December 24.
Bay Slough, east end is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting San Francisco, San Francisco Bay: highs come about 49 min and lows about 112 min later than there. The nearest other station is Bay Slough, 1 mi away. For tidal currents, see Redwood Pt., Blair I., 1.15 nmi. Nne of.
Predictions are based on San Francisco, San Francisco Bay.
