About the tides at Saybrook Jetty
Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.7 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The average range is about 3.3 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Connecticut stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 11, with a range of 4.4 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 3.3 ft.
