About the tides at The Glen

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at The Glen, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The average range is about 3.4 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 3.8 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 4.4 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 3.1 ft.

The Glen is a subordinate station. NOAA predicts its tides by adjusting Newport: highs come about 13 min and lows about 3 min earlier than there.
