About the tides at Walkers Landing

Walkers Landing has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Seattle, Puget Sound. The range is large, about 9.9 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most Washington stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 29, with a range of 18.3 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 9.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 16.5 ft on January 25, and the lowest is −4.2 ft on December 24.
