About the tides at Bay Slough

Bay Slough has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. With a mean range of about 5.8 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most California stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.8 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 4.7 ft, on Friday.
