About the tides at Edgely

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Meenan, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The pattern follows the reference station at Philadelphia (USCG Sta.), Delaware River. The range is large, about 7.3 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most Pennsylvania stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 8.5 ft. Neap tides follow on Thursday, when the range shrinks to 7.0 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.4 ft on August 3, and the lowest is −0.6 ft on January 26.
