About the tides at Cape Island Creek

Cape Island Creek has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Atlantic City, Atlantic Ocean. The average range is about 4.1 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. The next spring tides peak on October 27, with a range of 6.3 ft. Neap tides follow today, when the range shrinks to 3.3 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 6.3 ft on August 2, and the lowest is −1.4 ft on January 23.
