About the tides at Cape May, Atlantic Ocean

The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 5.7 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 4.6 ft.

Cape May, Atlantic Ocean is a subordinate station, so NOAA publishes only its high and low times and heights. The nearest other station is Cape Island Creek, 2 mi away, where high tide comes about 6 min later. For tidal currents, see Cape May Canal, east end.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
