About the tides at Cape Utalug (4 miles west of)

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 0.7 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Adak Island, Sweeper Cove. On a typical day the water moves about 3.4 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Alaska stations on this site.
