About the tides at Courtney Point

Courtney Point usually gets one high and one low tide a day, known as a diurnal tide. The mean range is small, about 1.3 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak on Thursday, with a range of 1.5 ft. Neap tides follow on October 22, when the range shrinks to 0.4 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 2.1 ft on October 2, and the lowest is −1.0 ft on January 20.
