About the tides at Newbold
Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.7 ft. With a mean range of about 7.3 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. That is larger than most Pennsylvania stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 8.7 ft, comes on October 10, and the smallest, 7.0 ft, on Tuesday.
Predictions for Newbold come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. The nearest other station is Fieldsboro, 0.8 mi away. For tidal currents, see Newbold Island north of, Main Channel.
