About the tides at Jack Bay

This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at VALDEZ, Port Valdez. The range is large, about 9.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. The next spring tides peak on Sunday, with a range of 14.7 ft. Neap tides follow on October 17, when the range shrinks to 4.0 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 15.1 ft on November 25, and the lowest is −3.5 ft on July 5.
