About the tides at Valdez

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.6 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The range is large, about 9.7 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 12.1 ft.
