About the tides at Landlocked Bay
Landlocked Bay has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Cordova, Orca Inlet, Prince William Sd. With a mean range of about 9.1 ft, the shoreline here changes a lot between high and low water. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 15.2 ft on November 25 and bottom out at −3.8 ft on July 5.
Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Cordova, Orca Inlet, Prince William Sd, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them. The nearest other station is Busby Island, 9 mi away. For tidal currents, see Fish Bay, southwest of.
Predictions are based on Cordova, Orca Inlet, Prince William Sd.
