Long Key has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The mean range is small, about 1.4 ft, so wind and pressure can matter as much as the tide itself. The next spring tides peak today, with a range of 1.9 ft. Neap tides follow tomorrow, when the range shrinks to 1.1 ft.
