About the tides at Millbridge

Tides here follow a regular twice-daily rhythm. The two daily highs usually differ by only 0.8 ft. Millbridge sees a mean range of about 11.3 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most Maine stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 12.1 ft. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 13.8 ft on December 25 and bottom out at −1.5 ft on January 23.

Predictions for Millbridge come from this station's own tide records. There is no live sensor, so the table shows forecast only. NOAA measured the tide here in 1999 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Green Island, 12 mi away, where high tide comes about 13 min earlier. For tidal currents, see Moosabec Reach, west end.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
