About the tides at Minnie Bay

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.3 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The pattern follows the reference station at Sitka. Minnie Bay sees a mean range of about 10.1 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 14.5 ft, comes on October 11, and the smallest, 8.2 ft, on Friday.
