This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. The pattern follows the reference station at NEW LONDON, State Pier. Water here rises and falls only about 1.8 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction.
