About the tides at North End
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Bay Oil pier, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. The average range is about 4.2 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 4.6 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 5.4 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 3.9 ft.
