About the tides at Red Bay Point

Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at St Johns River, each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. Water here rises and falls only about 0.9 ft on an average day. A strong onshore wind can push levels above the prediction. That is smaller than most Florida stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 1.0 ft, comes on October 27, and the smallest, 0.8 ft, on Monday. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 1.1 ft on July 5 and bottom out at −0.1 ft on January 23.
