About the tides at Samoa

Tides here are mixed. On average the two daily highs differ by 1.2 ft, so check which low is the lower one before you head out. The range is large, about 5.4 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. That is larger than most California stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 7.4 ft. The next spring tides peak on October 28, with a range of 9.9 ft. Neap tides follow on November 2, when the range shrinks to 2.6 ft. In the next 12 months the highest predicted tide here is 9.2 ft on December 24, and the lowest is −2.2 ft on June 6.
