About the tides at Village Point

Village Point has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The range is large, about 5.3 ft on average. Flats and bars appear and vanish quickly, so keep an eye on the time. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 8.7 ft. The next spring tides peak on Saturday, with a range of 10.1 ft. Neap tides follow on October 10, when the range shrinks to 4.9 ft.

This is a prediction station. NOAA calculates its tides from past measurements at this spot, but there is no live gauge today. NOAA measured the tide here from 1972 to 1975 to set up these predictions. The nearest other station is Gooseberry Point, 2 mi away. For tidal currents, see Hale Passage, east of Lummi Point.

Tide predictions and water levels from NOAA CO-OPS. For planning only, not for navigation. Real water levels can differ because of wind, air pressure and river flow. Always check conditions on site.
