About the tides at Weekapaug Point
This is a mixed-tide station. Some days bring a deep low and a shallow low, and a few days have only one of each. On a typical day the water moves about 2.5 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Rhode Island stations on this site. From the average lower low to the average higher high, the difference is 2.9 ft. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 3.3 ft, comes on October 9, and the smallest, 2.7 ft, on Saturday.
