About the tides at Willoughby Island

Willoughby Island has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Elfin Cove, Port Althorp. Willoughby Island sees a mean range of about 13.1 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. That is larger than most Alaska stations on this site. Looking a year ahead, predictions peak at 21.0 ft on December 24 and bottom out at −3.8 ft on July 5.
