About the tides at Bucksport

Bucksport has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. Bucksport sees a mean range of about 10.4 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 12.9 ft, comes today, and the smallest, 9.7 ft, on Sunday.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at Bar Harbor, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
