About the tides at Picnic Harbor

Picnic Harbor has a mixed tide. The two daily highs, and especially the two lows, can differ a lot in height. The pattern follows the reference station at Seward, Resurrection Bay. The tide range here is very large, about 10.2 ft on average. Water can come in faster than you can walk across flats. Check the time before you go out.
