About the tides at Redfox Bay

Redfox Bay has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The pattern follows the reference station at SELDOVIA, Kachemak Bay. Redfox Bay sees a mean range of about 11.1 ft. Low tide can expose a wide area, and the return is fast. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 19.3 ft, comes on October 11, and the smallest, 8.4 ft, on Sunday.

Tides here are worked out from the reference station at SELDOVIA, Kachemak Bay, with NOAA time and height corrections. Times are good for planning, but local wind can shift them.
