About the tides at Cedar Tree Neck

Cedar Tree Neck has a semidiurnal tide: two highs and two lows of similar height each day, about 12 hours and 25 minutes apart. The average range is about 2.1 ft. Spring tides add a little more at both ends. That is smaller than most Massachusetts stations on this site. The next spring tides peak on October 10, with a range of 2.8 ft. Neap tides follow on Sunday, when the range shrinks to 2.0 ft.
