About the tides at Uncatena Island (south side)
Expect two roughly equal high tides a day at Uncatena Island (south side), each arriving about 50 minutes later than the day before. On a typical day the water moves about 3.4 ft between high and low. That is smaller than most Massachusetts stations on this site. Over the next two weeks the biggest daily range, 4.6 ft, comes on October 10, and the smallest, 3.3 ft, on Sunday.
